What was the highlight of Grand Hotel Bellevue
A top spot for a weekend in Lille.
Great location. Upgraded to spectacular room with a view over the square. Very effective soundproofing. Super comfy bed. Bedrooms and communal areas all fresh and clean and well kept.
Shower strength a bit disappointing. Breakfast was very busy and rather chaotic with the buffet running low. However the hard working staff were very efficient and kept on top of everything.

Very Good
Great location just off Grand Place. We could walk easily to most places, restaurants, Old Town and metro station all very close. Lovely big room. Excellent breakfast, wide choice, good quality. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooftop bar, worth a visit even in winter. Lovely hotel, would happily return.
We would have preferred a walk-in shower (rather than over bath). Apparently the hotel doesn't have a lot of these. Everything else absolutely fine.

Bed comfy pillows not. Would have expected more variety for breakfast e.g vegetarian sausages. Also paper cups in the room would have preferred proper cups.

Very Good
Very good location and nice staff .Decoration is very simple and beautiful.
The room's soundproofing is not very good; you can clearly hear the sound of water being used for washing in the adjacent room, and the noise from the streets at night will also be audible.
